- ➤ Ampirical, a Covington engineering firm, has grown into a $500M business by transforming power grid services. It secured its largest contract yet connecting Entergy's grid to a new AI data center and closed a deal where SkyKnight Capital now owns 60% of the firm + plans more expansion. The Times-Picayune
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Residents in several Slidell subdivisions report nearly five years of inconsistent water quality, and they hope local water service providers will soon address the issue (many homeowners continue to experience problems). WWL-TV

- ➤ A local Loyola professor said her Christmas cards came back undeliverable — even with correct addresses — while postal workers blamed sorting errors possibly linked to AI. Customers are advised to call USPS for help as they work to improve the system. WWL-TV
