EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The St. Tammany library board unanimously selected Trevor Collings on Wednesday and offered him a $120,000 salary with a 10-day response period to lead the 12-branch library system — replacing Kelly LaRocca, who left in September — after a monthslong process. Collings, director at Audubon Regional Library, said he applied due to his respect for the system and community. The Times-Picayune

- ➤ A Winter Storm Watch covers parts of the northshore starting late Saturday night through Sunday afternoon—local roads may see up to a quarter-inch of ice that could cause travel delays. WDSU
