➤ Local mentor Dane Reynolds launched the Pearl River chapter of Truth In Nature to help troubled boys learn outdoor skills and life lessons — like hunting and fishing — through monthly outings with schools and churches. ➤ Hannan boys' and girls' soccer teams won 3—2 and 1—0 quarterfinal games on Feb. 16 at Hawk Field to reach the state semifinals for the second straight season; the boys are set to host E.D. White on Feb. 20 at 6:00 p.m. The Times-Picayune
