- ➤ Fontainebleau State Park will host its first Lights in the Park display this Christmas, featuring a 2.8-mile driving loop with talking trees, pixel art, and a pedestrian area styled like a Christmas market. The display is part of a state parks initiative + a $200,000 investment aimed at boosting local tourism. The Times-Picayune
- ➤ After 11 p.m. on Thursday, a St. Tammany deputy helped an overwhelmed mother with three children when her toilets clogged by using a plunger and hose — his kind act provided comfort until the plumbing was fixed and he later returned to check on her family. WWL-TV
- ➤ After a water main break disrupted service earlier, South Claiborne has reopened as utility crews finished flushing and cleanup (according to a city release). Residents can now resume normal water use. FOX 8
