- ➤ A Pelican Institute survey finds 40% of voters list rising living costs + inflation as their chief concern while nearly 80% report utility bills have increased due in part to state policies. Erin Bendily said lawmakers are expected to consider relief bills in upcoming sessions. Louisiana Radio Network
- ➤ Local gas stations may soon charge nearly a dollar more per gallon as oil prices jump amid ongoing conflict in Iran, experts say. Greg Upton from the LSU Center for Energy Studies noted a predicted 40-50 cent increase over the next few weeks & drivers should prepare for higher costs. WWL-TV

- ➤ A forecast warns of a severe weather threat (level one and level two) for Southeast Louisiana Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. Models predict storms may approach the Northshore after 9 p.m. with strong winds and a slight chance of tornadoes. WDSU
