- ➤ On Feb. 21, Slidell's Navy JROTC team won the Louisiana Air Rifle state championship at Zachary High School with a total of 2,015 points, and team captain Danni Ferguson said the historic win drives the team's plans to return to nationals next year in Columbia (Missouri). The Times-Picayune
- ➤ PJP II baseball standout Caden Amie signed with UNO + teammate Trey Dieudonné headed to the United States Sports University on March 11, with coach Brian Babin praising their hard work that opened Division I opportunities. The Times-Picayune
