ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A multi-vehicle crash on I-10 eastbound at mile marker 218 on the Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge closed the interstate for more than an hour—officials said five to seven vehicles were involved and drivers were urged to take alternate routes. WWL-TV
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A doctor was arrested in Slidell after he allegedly attempted to remove his sister's ankle monitor—officials said the act violated a court order. FOX 8
- ➤ Slidell police reported that around midnight on Highway 190—just east of Northshore Boulevard—a pedestrian walking in a dimly lit area wearing dark clothes was struck by a westbound car and pronounced dead at the scene. WDSU
