- ➤ The St. Tammany Art Association announced its call for entries for the 55th National Juried Artists Exhibition: The Summer Show and invited artists ages 18 and up to submit up to three original pieces by May 1. The free exhibition will run from July 12 to September 12 at the STAA Art House in Covington & cash awards up to $3,500 will be presented with winners announced around June 3. AN17

- ➤ Love the Boot Week is a statewide cleanup drive that begins this week in Louisiana with more than 1,050 scheduled events in every parish. Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser said the campaign will boost volunteer work and cut litter — a plan to help make our state cleaner. Louisiana Radio Network
