- ➤ A new AARP report finds that 900,000 Louisianans are caregivers for adults, with only 20% of Medicaid funds covering home care. Director of Advocacy Andrew Muhl said lawmakers must shift funding to 40/60 & add 750 waivers to help 12,000 waiting families. Louisiana Radio Network

- ➤ A new study shows St. Tammany Parish needs up to 17,000 affordable homes by 2030 with nearly 1,500 new residents expected in areas like Slidell and Mandeville where rents often exceed $1,200.
