- ➤ One year ago, an EF-2 tornado struck Slidell and damaged 748 structures from four tornadoes, triggering a months-long recovery. Interim Mayor Bill Borchert said private property is about 90 percent restored and noted that buildings like Courtney Heights Apartments on Old Spanish Trail now have a new roof and siding—though small issues like downed power lines and debris still remain. - ➤ St. Tammany detectives arrested convicted felon Jalen 'Hotboy' Dillworth and his girlfriend Anna Duncan on March 27 from a Northshore home on Daisy Street after a search found marijuana, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and a Glock handgun (part of an ongoing investigation). WWL-TV
