- ➤ Slidell City Council approved selling the former DISA building on Gause Boulevard to Textron Systems for $3.4 million to reduce maintenance costs & spur local growth. Textron said it will invest $5.3 million for facility improvements and may add jobs when work starts mid-2026, with completion in 2027. The Times-Picayune
