- ➤ Today, independent environmentalist Scott Smith will test Roseland wells and drinking water for metals, SVOCs, Dioxins, and PFAS in response to high forever chemical readings from Smitty’s Supply explosion last August. - ➤ The Supreme Court on Friday narrowed a $745M verdict against Chevron by sending the case back to the 5th Circuit, a shift that may change how local governments pursue claims for coastal erosion affecting Louisiana’s coast. The Times-Picayune

- ➤ The Saints posted a picture on Friday showing Drew Brees with his gold Pro Football Hall of Fame jacket ahead of his official induction in August (Canton, Ohio). Brees is celebrated for his 20 seasons with the Saints and his record-setting NFL career. WDSU
- ➤ Northshore swept Natchitoches Central at Ned Eades Field on April 16-17—Connor Smith and Jacob Neely delivered strong starts for 1-0 and 5-1 wins. The Panthers will carry their momentum to Hahnville, where they will face the fifth-seeded Tigers in a three-game series. The Times-Picayune
- ➤ Pearl River Rebels won a 14-0 playoff game on April 17 when pitcher Makenzie Picasso struck out 10 and drove in 4 runs in five innings against West Feliciana. The Rebels will face Iowa on April 21 at 5:30 p.m. The Times-Picayune
