  • On April 21, Slidell police began investigating a theft when home security footage captured an Amazon delivery driver removing a birthday cake meant for a 16-year-old daughter from a home’s garage refrigerator — police are working with Amazon and the public to identify the suspect.  FOX 8
  • Slidell police say a man who appears to be an Amazon delivery driver entered a garage fridge and stole a birthday cake meant for a Sweet 16 party—detectives are working with Amazon and ask the public for help in identifying the suspect.  WWL-TV

  • Since Easter, crawfish prices have dropped—boiled crawfish cost around $3 a pound and live crawfish range from $1.50 to $2.50 a pound, prompting local buyers to take advantage of lower prices as the weather warms.  WWL-TV
