- ➤ St. Tammany Public Schools superintendent Frank Jabbia named six new administrators at the July 10 School Board meeting in Covington—these include Gary Hoover, Sheri Jones, Amber Spurgeon, Katherine Grubb, Kathryn Horridge, and Taylor Conway. The district also announced online registration for new students begins July 24 while in-person registration will be held July 29 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Smart Start Days scheduled on Aug. 6 for names A through L and on Aug. 7 for names M through Z as all students return on Aug. 8.
