- ➤ Families affected by the River Ridge apartment fire received free clothing at Jesse Owen’s Gym at 11101 Newton St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 2—community members were invited to collect essential items. WDSU
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Covington woman, 39-year-old Jennifer L. Ayo, died at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday when her car entered the intersection at La. 36—La. 3241 in St. Tammany Parish and was hit by another vehicle, injuring two other drivers who were taken to local hospitals. The Times-Picayune
- ➤ On August 2 at about 7:30 a.m., Louisiana State Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on LA Hwy 36 at LA Hwy 3241 in St. Tammany Parish that killed 39-year-old Jennifer L.-Ayo and left the Honda driver with life-threatening injuries and the Ford driver with moderate injuries. AN17
