- ➤ The Sewerage and Water Board found a faulty temperature sensor on Turbine 5 — crews are replacing it and expect repairs to finish within weeks. WWL-TV
- ➤ The exit from I-10 West to Airline Hwy. at the Carrollton interchange and the I-10 on—ramp from lake—bound S. Carrollton Ave. have reopened ahead of schedule after repairs, which were sped up by good weather and a seven—day work schedule following a May collision when a garbage truck struck a support structure.
