- ➤ The Women’s Council of Realtors in St. Tammany is hosting its annual Parade of Bras on Oct. 9 at The Harbor Center in Slidell to raise funds for breast cancer care. Male models will wear custom bras from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. — proceeds will benefit Slidell Memorial Hospital and St. Tammany Hospital. The Times-Picayune
- ➤ Miracle League Northshore will hold a raffle drawing on October 25 at 12:30 p.m. where $20 tickets sold in person and online give buyers a chance to win signed memorabilia—either a Taylor Swift guitar or a special baseball jersey—with all proceeds funding equipment, trophies, and field maintenance. - ➤ Tracey Powell, a Slidell attorney and real estate agent finalizing her social work certification, won the Real Superhero award at Safe Harbor Northshore’s gala on Sept. 20—she raised over $49,000 for domestic violence support.
