- ➤ During Week 8 of LHSAA football, eight St. Tammany teams secured wins with scores ranging from shutouts to high totals—key players included Mandeville’s Jake Jacketti and Pope John Paul II’s Dominik Smith. - ➤ Northshore swim teams won the Northlake District Championships at Genesis Health Clubs-PAC on Oct. 23 with the girls earning their first district title in over 20 years by beating Mandeville 408 to 348 and the boys snapping a streak of nine straight district crowns by defeating St. Paul’s 399 to 334—coach Megilligan celebrated the historic sweep as a total team effort.
