➤ Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System announced plans to invest over $425 million in expanding hospital capacity and improving care in rural areas—especially with a $100 million project at Our Lady of the Lake that will add beds and boost NICU services to meet rising patient demand. This initiative aims to ensure that rural patients have better access to advanced emergency and specialist care. The Times-Picayune

SPORTS NEWS

➤ The Saints had four turnovers in a 23—3 loss to the Buccaneers that dropped their record to 1—7 after replacing Spencer Rattler with rookie Tyler Shough. The team will travel to Los Angeles to face the Rams at 3:05 p.m. on November 2. WWL-TV
