- ➤ The new mobile library in St. Tammany Parish was introduced on Nov 18 with a ribbon cutting and now visits 24 stops monthly to serve local residents—especially those with mobility challenges—by bringing about 1,000 items directly inside community centers like Lacombe's COAST Activity Center. The service also offers a Books by Mail program that lets homebound patrons easily receive and return materials. The Times-Picayune
